I had one of the worst hotel experiences ever at this place. First of all, there was no hot water in our room, and at times, there was no water at all. We weren’t even notified about this issue beforehand, and when we asked about it, the staff casually said, "Oh, they didn’t tell you?" Spoiler alert: no, they didn’t. We stayed for 3 days and 3 nights, and the air conditioning was set to 18°C the entire time because of a technical issue that prevented us from turning it off. Despite asking the hotel staff four times to fix it, they completely ignored our requests. The technician only showed up the morning of our checkout. Imagine staying in a room with freezing cold water, a constant 18°C temperature inside, and 35°C outside. It was unbearable. To top it all off, there was a broken interior door, a clogged sink, and old, worn-out towels that were almost black from use. And honestly, I could go on, but I’ll stop here.

We felt at home. The care given by Rodney, Jennifer and all the staff is very welcoming. A clean, air-conditioned environment and a hearty breakfast. We used the Jacuzzi every day to cool off from the Caribbean heat. The location is a little far from the center, but the group walks made the time pass unnoticed.

Worst stay in San Andres and top 5 of my entire life. Unfortunately when doing the reservation by booking the payment method didnt work, and they asked to pay them directly 100% before hand so we couldn’t make any change on the reservation! Otherwise we would have complained with booking and go somewhere else the first day. First day: The room is very noisy, we could hear the motos, cars and people on the street. At night at 4:00 am someone from the hotel staff woke us up by opening the door of our room by mistake trying to do the check in of other guests. after the incident I had to come out of bed and the room to tell them to be more silent because they were making lots of noise in the corridor explaining the hotel rules to the new guests. Breakfast is "varied" but not good. It is not friendly for people with food restrictions ( I am vegetarian-semi vegan). When asking for additional fruit they denied it, the scrambled eggs had pieces of shell and the waffles are served without honey, or syrup, jelly or anything. The two ladies in the kitchen and service are very friendly but they are only two people cooking and serving more than 30 people at the same time! The room is comfortable but built to look good but not very functional: in the bathroom everything is rusty and falls apart (potos), and the handle of the window is broken so all the noise of the street is very loud in the room. we couldn’t sleep. On top of everything, they are building a new block, (where our room was located) and they started working, drilling and hammering at 8:00 am in the room next door! Some days until 7pm!!! Day two: still inconveniences with the breakfast: arepas were not even fully cooked when served (photo) and not vegetarian/vegan options (eggs, jam, milk,yoghurt). After asking them to repair the window they said they will do it the next day. Day 3- last day: they finally repaired the window. Definitely NOT RECOMMENDED if you want to have a pleasant stay on the island.

Summer House Inn is the perfect place for a peaceful and comfortable stay. The staff are welcoming, friendly and very accommodating. Rondny in particular was patient with my basic Spanish. He upgraded me upon arrival to a more spacious room upstairs, always greeted me warmly in the mornings and was helpful in booking tours and scooter rental from outside the hotel entrance. The beds are very comfortable with near silent AC. It's a 15 minute walk from the North beach but is away from the busy nightlife to get a peaceful sleep. I would love to return to San Andrés one day and would gladly stay at Summer House Inn again! Muchos Gracias!

I have a great time at Summer house. I liked so much the bed very confortable and the staff attentive about me. They give me some Tips and good place to visit at san Andres. San Andres are beautiful !
